click on register ( not the bottom one ) , after registering , click on login> Upload your images … thats it , an email should be sent to you when registering with a link to your gallery ..
e.g , you register under the name xyz then the path to your gallery is http://zainalsc.juliet.cloudns.io/final_project/xyz .
NOTE : the site might take time to load , preloader still not added … so be patient 🙂

regarding the upload , you have used the cookies version , now the problem is there are some ppl who can upload and some dont , while investigating i discovered those users who cannot view the uploaded images has actually uploaded the images in the root directory the u_id & path assigned to the images in the DB are NULL/Empty couple of reasons and i will tell u why because the site uses cookies to to hold most values :
1- while you loggin it saves [ directory , u_is , and U_name] in a cookie … so probably case1 , if you have cookies disabled or anyother software blocking them you wont be able to use the site ..
2-When uploading flash interface cant send other parameters with the uploaded file , so i again use cookies to save user variables in them for upload e.g
$path = $_COOKIE[‘directory’];
$uploaddir =”./”.$path.”/”;

i now converted every cookie to a session variable , works for me … but i have no idea about other users who still cant upload , can u retry ?

you know whats funny , even though i switched cookies to sessions … ONLY IE users can upload correctly , session variables are entered correctly into the DB ..
but FF cant do it … now why is that ?

First, i have signed up and received the E-mail notification, every thing looks ok, now loging in, i have noticed that the username is case-sensitive, so i tried to create another account in a different case style, well it have detected that username is not available, so why i can’t login with different case stlye ?
Moving a long, uploading an image, under firefox 1.5 (Linux), i have select a file and press the upload button, the file disappears from the list without showing any upload activty, i tried again, this time it showed upload activty after reaching 100% the browser disappers (crashed ???), then i’ve check if there are any pictures stored, it shows nothing, i’ve tried 3 time it gives the same thing, firefox 2.0 (Windows) does the same thing except it doesn’t disappers. while IE6 image uploading is ok.
Then, I’ve tried to upload a large image (4.20 MiB), because i didn’t know the size limit, so i have to try, the file gets uploaded to server or shows to upload the image, but the image is not listed under delete section, even it doesn’t show in the gallery. so what happend to image ?
This is my report for now, i will continue later

Opera is also infected with the same thing, i wonder if it is the flash plugin, because it is shared between FireFox, Mozila, Opera, and Netscape. i have updated the flash plugin, but still nothing.
Worked fine for me on XP Pro and Firefox 2.0.0.4. I registered last night (8 PM Pacific Time) and waited for an email, and then tried it anyway just now. Was I supposed to get an automated email? I guess it doesn’t matter, because it works without it.

No, I still haven’t got an email (not in junk either), but I did get a test photo on your server. I just logged-in anyway and uploaded it, no problem.

Using the latest Firefox on mac os 10.4.10
The program wouldn’t start, loads and then it halts at some point ! PC fans starts to roar and things get a bit heated ! I didn’t choose to upload pics though ! Went straight to the first choice
So I think that you have a wee problem with macs ! Sort it out biiiiiiiiiaaaaaaaaaaaaach because I want this to be part of my gallery page on my blog ! 😉

1- it wont load fast because i didn’t add a preloader for the site …
2- though it didn’t effect PCs , im using interval based function for debugging i will be disabled once i finalize the site .
3- i will add an enable/disable button to the interval debugger .
im glad you like that so much that you wanna have it on your blog , maybe you should start advertising it for me 😉
here is another thought , [“IF”] i have enough time :
I’ll try to add another function to the project were users can interact with another users , for example a user can list other members and watch their gallery add to that , the user can also send a msg to a particular user inbox .
that will take time off course and i dont think i can finish it within 3 weeks period .
